<p>Staff Support for Regional State Engagement with the United States (U.S.) Department of Energy, Office of Nuclear Energy, Office of Storage &amp; Transportation on Radioactive Materials Transportation Planning. Facilitate engagement between DOE and State government representatives in four (4) specific regions (Eastern Region, Western Region, Midwestern Region, or Southern Region of the United States) and the Office of Storage &amp; Transportation (DOE-S&amp;T) in planning for future large-scale DOE transportation of commercial used nuclear fuel (UNF) and high-level radioactive waste (HLW), and addressing related DOE program issues that may impact a State or region. DOE anticipates making a total of four (4) awards e from this NOFO, one (1) award for each region.</p>
